It enables presbyopic patients to look through real intraocular lenses before surgery in order to experience postoperative vision before implantation.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dezimal.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Illustration-1.webp\" alt=\"Illustration-1\" title=\"Illustration-1\" itemprop=\"image\"\/>\n\t\t\t\tThe goal of RALV is to achieve the <strong>highest possible patient satisfaction<\/strong> after refractive lens exchange &#8211; less complaints and less explantations.<br \/>\nRALV allows to &#8220;test&#8221; an IOL on objects and vision charts in near, intermediate and far distances, allowing patients to subjectively evaluate different IOL types and designs (monofocal, EDoF, multifocal &#8211; refractive and diffractive) to find the one that individually fits best.
